Acupuncture

New Patient Intake & Acupuncture Treatment — 90 minutes | $260

Your first visit is a relaxed, in-depth experience designed to understand your unique health history and concerns. We’ll review your health, lifestyle, and goals and use traditional Chinese diagnostic methods, including pulse and tongue assessment, to develop a personalized treatment plan. Your first acupuncture treatment is included, followed by self-care recommendations and a discussion of next steps.

Follow-Up Acupuncture Treatment — 60 minutes | $130

Follow-up visits build on your previous treatment and progress. Each session begins with a check-in to discuss how you responded, any changes or new symptoms, and how you’re feeling overall. Your treatment is then adjusted to your current needs, with your feedback helping guide your continued care.

Stress Relaxation Session — 20 minutes | $30

A gentle, restorative treatment designed to calm the mind, relax the body, and restore balance. Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the treatment stimulates specific acupuncture points to promote the smooth flow of Qi and reduce the effects of stress on the nervous system.

Additional Acupuncture & Supportive Therapies

Your treatment at Jean Donati Acupuncture in Towson, MD is personalized to your individual needs. In addition to traditional acupuncture, other therapies may be incorporated into your treatment when appropriate. Jean schedules one patient at a time, allowing treatments to be adjusted based on how you are feeling and what you need that day.

Body Cupping
Moving or stationary cupping may be used to help relieve muscle tension, tightness and pain and improve circulation. Cupping can be incorporated into acupuncture treatment for back, neck, shoulder, sports and overuse concerns.

Electro-Acupuncture
Electro-acupuncture uses gentle electrical stimulation with acupuncture needles. It may be incorporated into treatment for pain, muscle tension and certain musculoskeletal concerns when appropriate.

Auricular Acupuncture
Auricular acupuncture uses specific acupuncture points on the ear. It may be used alone or as part of a full acupuncture treatment to address stress, relaxation, pain and other concerns.

Red Light Therapy

Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture — 90 minutes | $300

Facial acupuncture (cosmetic acupuncture) uses ultra-fine acupuncture needles to naturally rejuvenate the skin. By improving circulation, stimulating collagen, and relaxing facial tension, it can help improve fine lines, wrinkles, sagging, skin tone, and radiance. Each session includes both facial and body acupuncture, taking a whole-person approach that considers the skin along with underlying concerns that may affect its appearance.

Microneedling & Nano-Needling — 60 minutes | $300

Microneedling uses a specialized pen to create controlled micro-injuries that stimulate collagen production and the skin's natural healing response. Nano-needling provides a gentler, non-invasive option for improving skin texture and appearance. Treatments can address fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, sagging and skin laxity and can be performed on the face, neck, décolleté, hands, and targeted areas. Each session includes body acupuncture to support healing and overall balance.

One distinction: nano-needling can also be used on areas you don't microneedle, including the lips and under-eye area.

Scalp Microneedling for Hair Loss — 60 minutes | $300

Scalp microneedling is used for hair thinning and hair loss in both men and women. A specialized microneedling pen creates controlled micro-injuries that stimulate blood flow and the body's natural healing response, helping support healthier hair growth. Treatment may also be combined with targeted topical serums to enhance absorption. Each session includes body acupuncture to support circulation and overall healing.

Facial Gua Sha — 30 minutes | $50

Facial Gua Sha is a relaxing treatment that uses a smooth stone tool to release facial tension, reduce puffiness, improve circulation, and support a refreshed, naturally radiant appearance.

Facial Cupping — 30 minutes | $50

Facial cupping is a gentle treatment that uses small suction cups to lift and stimulate the skin and underlying tissues. It helps improve circulation, reduce puffiness, encourage lymphatic drainage, and support skin tone and elasticity while promoting relaxation.
