Available Monday-Friday by Appointment Only 

Because appointments are reserved specifically for each patient, the following policy helps keep appointment times available for everyone.

 

Appointment Confirmation:

  • A text message reminder will be sent 1-2 days before the scheduled appointment.

  • Please confirm or decline your appointment by 12 noon the day before your scheduled appointment.

  • If the appointment is not confirmed by this time, it may be offered to another patient on the waiting list.

  • Cancellations should be made as soon as you are aware that you need to cancel, preferably within 24 hours of the appointment.

  • Cancellations made after 12 noon the day before the appointment, or missed appointments, will be charged the full cost of the scheduled appointment.

Please note that any appointments requested outside of regular business hours are available by special request only and may incur an additional fee.

Insurance Policy

Jean Donati Acupuncture is an out-of-network provider and does not bill insurance companies directly. Because acupuncture benefits vary by insurance plan, please contact your insurance company before your appointment to confirm:

  • Whether your plan includes acupuncture benefits

  • Which conditions are covered

  • Your deductible and any session limits

  • Whether a referral or prior authorization is required
     

Superbills for Reimbursement
A detailed superbill with the appropriate ICD-10 and CPT codes can be provided for you to submit directly to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

Insurance Communication
If additional communication with your insurance company is required on your behalf, a $50 fee will apply.
